Objectives

· Define and drive the vision of an ecosystem that supports DevOps principles continuous integration, continuous testing, continuous deployment and continuous monitoring.

· Be technically savvy evangelists and establish themselves as trusted advisors that understand broader IT enterprise architecture.

· Develop and deliver Test/QA automation roadmap to drive transformation of client quality and testing organization.

· Lead, mentor and provide Technical/Solutioning leadership to Automation Engineers with best practices.

· Optimize the test architecture and full lifecycle automation approach from unit test through system verification, in collaboration with the Automation Factory.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for developing automation strategy for client specific testing requirements, architecting appropriate automation frameworks and applying automated tools to support application testing.

· Provide End to end solution management (planning, design, development, risk management, resource and client management)

· Assess client environment at enterprise level and provide cross platform, cross tooling automation solutions that span across delivery models (waterfall/agile/DevOps).

· Ensure alignment between the integration partners and vendors and help set test architecture priorities

· Ability to consult multiple projects / involve in presales and guide/mentor the automation team

· Ability to identify technical needs for the team and work with learning and development team for their career growth and enable them to become full stack testers.

· Responsible for evaluation of new tools / technologies as and when needed to evolve new solutions / frameworks.

Prerequisite/Experience

· 10 plus years of Experience in Technology / Automation Development Projects

· Proven experience of designing and implementing Automation Testing frameworks using TestNG, Karate, Robot framework and methodology to support agile product development / IT development program experience.

· Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing test automation solutions leveraging one or more of the following: Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and experience in API Testing tools like RestAssured, SOAPUI, Postman, JMeter

· Advanced experience in one or more languages (more than 5+ yrs) : Java, Python etc · Prior Experience in Dev Ops, Automated Deployments, Jenkins Pipelines, Containerization, Cloud Technologies, Dockers, Kubernates, Database etc · Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for functional automation projects · Understanding of HTTP protocol, XML, RESTful data structures and JSON format/ CS
